Free Initial Consult
I provide a free twenty minute video consultation. The purpose of this consultation is to find out if I am the right therapist to meet all your needs. We will spend time discussing what brings you in and your expectations in therapy. If we both feel like it would be a good fit, we will make an appointment to get started. If I feel you can be better served by a different therapist, I will let you know and provide you with some referrals.

I have limited sliding scale spots available. Please inquire if needed. I use the green body equity scale to determine sliding scale spots. For a sliding scale to work it relies on the principles of truthfulness, respect for complexity, and accountability. I do not ask for income verification. I trust my clients to be honest.

Not right now. I do partner with Mentaya to assist you with reimbursement from your insurance provider.

Yes, I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. If you are in Austin and would like to switch between in-person and virtual, I am able to accommodate that request with advance notice.
What will our first session look like?
In our first session, we will review intake paperwork together, discuss expectations of therapy and learn more about your needs. I will ask many questions to better understand you and where we can start.
What types of clients do I work with?
I work with individuals 18+ who reside in the state of Texas. I work with all sexualities, gender identities, religions, cultural identities, and so on.
I can’t afford your fee. what does sliding scale look like?
I have limited sliding scale spots for those in financial need. If you need a lower fee, I will provide you with several referrals that may better accommodate you. Check out my resources tab for a free referral list for Latinx Therapists in Austin.
How will I know if we’re a good match?
Between 3-5 sessions, I will check in to see how you’re feeling about working together. I encourage my clients to provide feedback so I can better accommodate their needs. If it is not right for us, I can provide you with referrals to other therapists who may be a better fit.
How long does therapy last?
Therapy will look different for everyone in terms of the number of sessions and varies on your presenting needs. Some people will choose to end therapy once their symptoms decrease and others may want to attend longer. There is no obligation or requirement on your end regarding the duration or frequency of sessions.
Notice Regarding the No Surprises Act:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You will automatically receive a Good Faith Estimate upon my intake process. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
